Digital Files

ProSmiles Apex Dental Studio accepts digital files from most major intraoral scanners. Sending your digital file to our lab will depend on the scanner your practice uses. Check through our list of protocols below to see how you can digitally connect to our lab and get your impression to our team.

Select your IOS

Dentsply Sirona CEREC®

  1. Create or login to your CEREC® Connect account
  2. Select "MY CEREC CONNECT"
  3. Search for [email protected].
  4. Select ADD to complete registration
  5. Whenever submitting your case via CEREC®, select ProSmiles Apex Dental Studio from your list
  1. Call 800-577-8767 and select option 2
  2. Request that ProSmiles Apex Dental Studio is added to your scanner.
  3. After ProSmiles Apex Dental Studio has been added, restart your scanner.
  4. After connecting to us as a lab, select ProSmiles Apex Dental Studio on your scanner when sending files.
  1. Login to Dexis IS Connect.
  2. Practice users need to enter their Username/Email associated with their practice.
  3. Click on "Quick Connect" located in the top right corner.
  4. Select "Add A Partner."
  5. Enter the lab's email address "[email protected]" and click on "Send."
  6. Please call the lab to confirm acceptance.
  1. Log in to the 3Shape Communicate Portal
  2. Search for "[email protected]" to find our lab and connect.
  3. Select ProSmiles Apex Dental Studio whenever sending files.
  1. Call Midmark support at 800-634-2249 and select option 3, then select option 1
  2. Request ProSmiles Apex Dental Studio to be added to your scanner
  3. Midmark will then confirm with us and add your connection remotely
  1. Export .STL, .PLY, or .OBJ files from scanner.
  2. Email files to the following email address: [email protected].
  1. Select the "find a lab" option on your scanner
  2. Search for "ProSmiles Apex Dental Studio" and add us as your laboratory
  3. Select ProSmiles Apex Dental Studio when submitting scans
