Digital Files

Dimension Dental Design accepts digital files from most major intraoral scanners. Sending your digital file to our lab will depend on the scanner your practice uses. Check through our list of protocols below to see how you can digitally connect to our lab and get your impression to our team.

Select your IOS

Dentsply Sirona CEREC®

  1. Create or login to your CEREC® Connect account
  2. Select "MY CEREC CONNECT"
  3. Search for "[email protected]" or "Granite City Apex"
  4. Select ADD to complete registration
  5. Whenever submitting your case via CEREC®, select Dimension Dental Design from your list
Option 1:
  1. Select "Find a Laboratory" on your iTero Scanner or use lab locator at www.itero.com.
  2. Connect with Dimension Dental Design by searching for our iTero ID number: 233318
  3. After connecting to us as a Lab, select Dimension Dental Design on your scanner when sending files.
Option 2:
  1. Call 800-577-8767 and select option 2
  2. Request that Dimension Dental Design is added to your scanner using our iTero ID number: 233318.
  3. After Dimension Dental Design has been added, restart your scanner.
  4. After connecting to us as a lab, select Dimension Dental Design on your scanner when sending files.
  1. Login to Dexis IS Connect.
  2. Practice users need to enter their Username/Email associated with their practice.
  3. Click on "Quick Connect" located in the top right corner.
  4. Select "Add A Partner."
  5. Enter the lab's email address "[email protected]" and click on "Send."
  6. Please call the lab to confirm acceptance.
  1. Log in to the 3Shape Communicate Portal
  2. Search for "[email protected]" to find our lab and connect.
  3. Select Dimension Dental Design whenever sending files.

Search for: "Granite City Dental Laboratory" when sending files.

  1. Export .STL, .PLY, or .OBJ files from scanner.
  2. Email files to the following email address: [email protected].
  1. Select the "find a lab" option on your scanner
  2. Search for "Dimension Dental Design" and add us as your laboratory
  3. Select Dimension Dental Design when submitting scans
  1. Open your Shining scanner software
  2. Search for our lab using either:
  3. Select our lab to complete the connection
  1. Access your TRIOS scanner settings
  2. Search for our lab using either:
  3. Select our lab to establish the connection
  1. Log in to your DS Core account
  2. Navigate to lab connections
  3. Search for our lab using either:
  4. Select our lab to establish the connection
  1. Open your Heron (3Disc) scanner software
  2. Search for our lab using either:
  3. Select our lab to complete the connection
